Many Robins winter over in San Antonio. Large flocks of Robins are being sighted, usually near water, often together with Cedar Waxwings (large flocks also). Feb 10, 2016, I observed more than 50 Robins and equal number of Waxwings along the San Antonio River near SE Military Dr. Feb 9, 2016, there were +/-20 each Robins and Waxwings near Brackenridge Golf Course (Broadway at Mill Race). Feb 8, 2016, there were 50-60 Robins at Blue Wing Rd and San Antonio River (29.275032, -98.431963.
