Last two days have seen large numbers (hundreds) moving through neighborhood (mid-Feb 2016). I don't recall seeing many red wing blackbirds in this area in previous years, let alone so many.

The males wing markings are not that pronounced. Narrow strip of reddish color, more noticeable when they take flight.
