Large number of robins roosting in the trees behind our home. They are vigorously eating the berries from a winterberry tree and eating the snow for water on the bushes and from the rain gutters. The berry tree has remained untouched from the fall until now. The robins first appeared this morning around 7-8am and the tree is close to being stripped clean by 1 pm this afternoon.
