Robin (OTHER Observations)

Date: 02/17/2016

Number: 1

Still hearing Robins high in the trees and shrubs singing & are flying through our back yard. They have also been attracted to our bird bath and I have to refill it daily as they splash all of the water out. The shrubs are not in bloom yet, and I have seen no "leaf-out" yet. There may be some high in the trees as we have had several days reaching 70-72 degrees. I am looking through my binoculars but I have cataracts that need to be removed so it is harder for me to see the leaves in the top of out oak trees. I have not seen them pull up any worms yet as I think the ground is still not warm enough. We are in a drought so I am assuming they are eating tiny insects or ants.
