Oriole (1st Baltimore)
Sightings report image

Date: 02/20/2016

Number: 1

The Male Baltimore Oriole was first sighted in our yard December 24, 2015. He has stayed. He came to the hummingbird feeder we had out for a rufous female that we first saw December 10, 2015.- She left Jan.3, 2016 and was banded-
He is still here sharing his oranges and jelly with a mockingbird and the white crowned and white throated sparrows. He is the only one that likes the sugar water.
I understand there is a female in Berryville, VA, too. It was listed on the Great Backyard Bird count site.
