Robin (OTHER Observations)

Date: 02/21/2016

Number: 1

Around 12:00 pm went outside. When I cracked the door I first noticed no feeding from birdfeeders. In fact, it was too quiet. That is when I only heard 1 Robin quietly doing the Last part of the "Peek" & "Tut" sound of the Robin in the side shrubs. I do not know if that is just called "Tut" for the birders out there. It was not really loud as we humans would say sounded like it was rather "under her/his breathe". Then I found out why...A huge hawk flew overhead and was gliding over our yard & neighbors for a snack this time of year to catch the birds feeding at our feeders. It was rather quiet most of the day after that. Overcast and calling for "Thundershowers and rain" for today and next several ones after that.
