I was really surprised to see a female Rufous at my window feeder today. At first I thought it was an Annas hen, that winters here; but she had a lot of Rufous color that I haven't seen since September. Usually the males arrive first. We have had a pretty early Spring, my daffodils are blooming. Lots of early nats to feed on.
