I was out birding south of Lethbridge and found my first Tundra Swans and Snow Geese of the year at Tyrrell Lake, approx. 45 km. SE of Lethbridge. This is at least a week or two earlier than I've seen them before. They are certainly signs of spring for the Lethbridge area.
