Adult male(?) Monarch resting on and investigating native central Texas milkweed I planted last May. Unfortunately, no blooms at present. This is the first Monarch seen in my yard since planting the milkweed. They bloomed profusely until late January, but all I had were a ton of Queens and Red Admirals. Hooray, a Monarch has found me.
