Seen two red winged blackbirds at the feeders this morning, we are having freezing rain and snow and are under a winter weather advisory. This is the earliest I have ever observed them, the Robins are usually the first to come home but I have always said the true sign of spring is when you can hear the red winged blackbirds sing.
