The small flock of robins were sighted drinking eagerly from among the four heated birdbaths I have in my backyard- they were acting as if they had not seen water (that was not in the form of snow and ice) for a very long time. I wish that MORE people in my city would put out at least one heated birdbath in the winter...I have found that liquid water seems so very much in demand for our winter/early spring/late fall bird populations in Wisconsin.
