Red-Winged Blackbirds appeared at my house shortly after the Cedar Waxwings made their appearance. The Red-Winged Blackbirds have been sparse, compared to last year's showing, but the Cedar Waxwings have been living in my neighborhood (and often at my house and pond) in spectacular numbers (100s at a time) for at least a month.
