For at least 15 minutes in the mid-afternoon, waves of 10 - 15 Robins passed thru my backyard. In each wave, many of them would stop to rest in a large tree in my backyard, then they would continue on and be immediately replaced my members of the next passing group.
After resting, all would proceeed to the northeast.
I hope this means that the Robin population is thriving in No. California. I've never seen anything like this before,fascinating!
