Large waves going through today , I saw one bunch of around 50 on the lawn of an apt. bldg just up the street. It is still blowing quite hard, maybe they will start singing when the wind goes somewhere else!
we have been having a very mild winter here in southern Ontario as it only freezes for a few days and then goes above freezing again. The lawns have been bare for a couple of weeks now and the soil isn't too hard especially after a day of hard rain. It is still quite windy but the robins I saw were having a feeding frenzy as they were running in all directions with lots of energy. I believe they were doing this in response to the weather we are having today which is sleet with about 6 or so inches of snow forecast but bouncing into the mid 40s F. in a few days.
