Robin (WAVE seen)

Date: 03/05/2016

Number: 1

"Peeks" (from a male hairy woodpecker) brought me to the window to see a robin sitting on top of the shepherds hook rod that the suet feeder hangs from. The robin was eyeing up the woodpecker, that was working on the suet square. The robin then flew down to the ground, under the feeder, eating all the morsels that were falling on the semi-frozen ground. Over the next 10 minutes, a handful of juncos joined in and all were happy until the woodpecker flew off.
The last couple of weeks seen 5-8 different waves, here and there, of different sizes. Also seeing many singles scurrying about. Noticed that birds prefer my lawn over adjoining lawns (no lawn applications here)
