The 4th grade planted bulbs a month earlier than the rest of the elementary students at our school. Most students predicted that the 4th grade bulbs would emerge first, since they were planted a full month before and had more time to grow underground before it got really cold. These bulbs did emerge first and almost a full month before they did last year.
