The latter part of February and March we have located several bald eagles here in east Bowie county near the Red River and tributaries. One evening we sighted 7 mature and en-matures at the north end of Summerhill rd.
A new nest was located in the same area on private property.
March 10 photographed one in part of the old Red river riverbed.
