It flew away quickly. I didn't notice the sex but it looked bright and well. It was flying away from my flower garden. I assume it was getting nectar. I don't know if it visited my milkweed, which is in a different garden behind my house. I was quite surprised because we usually don't see our first one here until beginning of April.
