"It’s officially ice-out on Clear Lake.

"City Water Superindent Paul J. Fredriksen declared the lake ice-out Wednesday morning. The lake level is 5.4 inches above the outlet weir.

"Ice-out means a boat can run along the entire shoreline of the lake.

"Last spring, Clear Lake’s ice-out was March 24."
