This is a photo of the monarch that did a lot of sun-basking in the grass before laying her eggs. It was a cool 60 degrees F with strong winds, bright sun and some clouds. The milkweed is available, but is not yet strongly abundant, so a bit of a search is necessary. So wonderful to be seeing these early monarchs!
