Mrs. Bloomfield's first grade class reports our tulips have bloomed. The tulips looked nice with their red soft petals. The insides were yellow and black. Today was sunny, hot, and very windy. Our study brought us to a new question. Eisenhower first grade classes planted more than 150 tulip bulbs following the test guidlines. Only 19 or 20 tulips grew. The bulbs were not eaten or taken away, we checked. Why did so few tulips grow?
