Very gusty south wind produced our first of season Monarch-like butterfly!! I know it wasn't a red admiral but it is possible it was a look alike. We have had hail here twice in a week and therefore, lots of construction vehicles and heavy boots. Our milkweed and everything else has suffered so I don't think I can confirm that it was a monarch.
