Wild columbine has little rosettes of leaves, the pasque flower has teeny tiny leaves the size of peas, the stinging nettle is about 1 inch tall, and the terrible garlic mustard has appeared again in little 3-4 inch tall mounds. The common motherwort is showing up again as well. The red elderberry has green cauliflower-shaped buds, and the silver maple has large red flowery buds.
