I was taking my dog for a walk in our mature (heavily treed)neighborhood late on Sunday afternoon when I heard beautiful birdsong. Hardly daring to hope, I looked upward, scanning a large elm tree nearby. There was a handsome, very healthy-looking robin, singing merrily, sitting on one of the upper branches.I haven't seen him since, but it's only a matter of time before more robins arrive.
