Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)
Sightings report image

Date: 03/16/2016

Number: 1

Single Male slowly moving through my garden. Guess he was looking for a female. Me too! It was a new male, probably local. We only seem to get the local Monarchs in the Spring. Not much of a migration here till fall. No eggs yet. Will check again this week. We usually don't get Fritilaries until it gets hotter. Have seen several Swallowtails also. This should be a good week for butterflies. Rain has stopped and it is warmer.
