A female Anna's stopped and fed at a feeder outside a window here in Woodside Ranch (Bend) at 3 p.m. Thursday, March 3rd. I went out of town the next morning and just returned, but have seen no other hummers here yet. Normally, one or two will start dropping by reliably on about March 25th or so, but this year's March 3rd is my earliest sighting. The previous recorded early one was March 9th.
