I cut back my Tropical Milkweed this winter. Before it had a chance to grow very much I have been inundated with many, many caterpillars in the past 6 weeks. They have eaten the milkweed down to nothing. I went to my local nursery and purchased 20 4 inch pots of milkweed which is the only size they had. The caterpillars have eaten them all and I keep finding more hungry little guys searching for milkweed in my garden. The nursery can't keep milkweed in stock.
