I found one egg and took it home to watch it hatch which usually happens within 5 days. However, this egg shows no hint of a developing caterpillar. On the 29th I found another egg in the same vicinity. I will be watching it. I just wondered if the first egg, perhaps, had not been fertilized. If so, the second egg may be the same as they were found in the same area.
