Today from about 1:30 - 2:30 pm I saw 4 different monarchs. It was a sunny day, with a very light breeze, and around 70 degrees F. The first one I saw sail by in our front yard. Then when I walked in our pastures I saw 2 more flying monarchs (one bright, one faded). As I came back up to our house I saw another monarch flying hurriedly across our front yard. None seemed to be egg-laying or nectaring (at least while I saw them) ~~ all were flying pretty fast. They might all have been males, but I don't know that for sure. Could not catch any of them with my camera.
