Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 03/31/2016

Number: 1

In flight. Definitely a Monarch but didn't stay around so that I could photograph or determine sex. I am currently an official butterfly identifier for both BugGuide and Butterflies and Moths of North America. I've seen numerous Red Admirals already this spring. American Ladies are also very common this spring.
