American goldfinch pair!!!!
On this cold day (-9C) just above my feeder
I can't believe it !! These are infrequent visitors to my backyard in the warm summer months - and usually come in a tiny flock to visit -
They stayed for about 1 min in my tree watching the slate-coloured Junco action on the ground but didn't join in.

It has been a busy morning:
Cardinal pair, RW blackbird, slate juncos, and now this pair, just amazing.
