they seemed to be "mating" near our milkweed, and their wings seemed a bit "frayed" on one Monarch.
I also notice them seeming to rest - laying horizontal, several times on our Butterflyweed (Asclepias tuberos)
- I also took a photo of one at our Lady Banks Rose - because it's underwings were so pale!
