I was out of town until last evening, Sunday, but drove up to see a female monarch laying eggs on my milkweed!

This is the first time I've experienced Monarchs arriving in spring. It seems that the easterly winds we experienced last week brought some of the migrators our way.

I have a lot of eggs and many varieties of milkweed. I trust I'll have a lot of butterflies eclose.
