Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Crossing the north bypass at 3 separate locations.

1. Saw individual Monarchs in about a 10 min time frame crossing about a 6 mile stretch of highway.

2. Weather seasonable variable. Alternating cool to mild with wind changes north to south and back. Extreme south east Ok. Officially warmer than norm.Early wet now drying. Days ranging generally low 30’s to mid to upper 60’s. Most notably has been the wind.

3. Have not checked for milkweed . I know some was planted on the Red Slough WMA this winter.

4. Have seen Black, Eastern Tiger and Zebra swallow tails, Comas, Sulfurs, Red Admirals, and a lot of unidentified small butterfly's. Considerable activity.
