Robin (First HEARD singing)

Date: 04/04/2016

Number: 1

While I was eating lunch at 11:40 am just outside the Wild Side Cafe, a male robin flew past me to a nearby oak tree, next to the Black Bear statue, and began to sing. He sang a few sections of true song, then flew off out of sight.

He had flown to the oak from a small grove of wax myrtle and Magnolia trees that grow along the fence next to the Cafe. I haven't been out enough to hear or see true song before this.
