Robin (OTHER Observations)

Date: 04/06/2016

Number: 1

I have been watching a pair of Robins singing sll day & especially right before dusk they are really singing their hearts out so pretty. The like to sit high in the "Live Oak Trees" or our neighbors Large Magnolia Tree singing their song called "Continous Song", "Peek" & "Tut", "Whinney" & Seeee" calls also with the Zee-up" call. They were very active around 6pm-7:15pm. They routinely come in for their lunchtime & after supper baths in our bird bath. They love the water. I have taken some video's of them bathing & Preening. I have never seen a Robin Preen like this one. He did not seem to miss a feather & he was very fast in his technique. I hope the enclosed picture comes out well from the bath scene. I think this is a true mated up pair as I believe they may have a nest somewhere at one of my neighbor's house because that is always the direction that they fly in for their bathing.
