We've been out of town for a few days, and when we returned home this afternoon, one small male came to the feeder. I have a feeling he arrived a couple of days ago. I do think he is one of our "residents" rather than a migrant, as he went directly to the feeder, then to the branch of a Japanese maple, which has been their habit in past years.
