Monarch Larva (FIRST sighted)
Sightings report image

Date: 04/01/2016

Number: 3

Today was a special April Fool's Day because I found my first monarch larva of the season ~~ 3 in fact. They were each on individual milkweeds. It was at 2:30 pm, overcast, about 65 degrees F, and fairly windy. This photo is of the first one I saw, who is possibly a 2nd instar at 6mm in length. Glad to see him (or her)!
