I have more good news to share....as soon as I got home today I saw a monarch flying around the house. I checked our milkweed and all of the plants had eggs on them. Pretty neat. We planted the butterfly milkweed last spring and they are already taking to it. Pretty rewarding.

We have seen a lot of swallowtails and several other species of butterflies. Don't know all of them, but a few were definitely red admirals.
