never seen a migration like this one, i've been following the barn swallows in my barn over twenty years. typically when 1 shows up they all do. over the last few years the numbers have fallen. this year 2 showed up raising my concern and apparently
the same sex..............
pretty depressing to see the 30+ empty nests.
while watching the 2 (4/12) eve i believe i witnessed 2 then 3 more
come across the field for the first pass of the season.
