After a couple of days of +18C it is +2C and drizzling. So many birds have returned the yard is swarming with them. It was interesting to see the antics of the Fox Sparrow this morning..they are so vigorous in their scratching of the earth. I can see water in the mouth od the river but the lake is still covered in thick ice. Buds are growing on the apple tree.
