At around 11:30am I saw a male monarch nectaring on a yellow thistle next to our driveway. It was about 73 degrees F, sunny with some clouds, and a very light breeze. A bit later as I walked in our pasture, I saw a flying monarch rest for a bit in a tree. At around 12:30pm I saw a mating pair flying, then landing in the upper branches of a tree in our front yard. At 1:45pm I went outside briefly and saw a monarch flying across the yard and over to the neighbor's pasture. At 2:30pm, while leaving, I saw monarch flying near our driveway.
