Today was an overcast day with a temperature around 72 degrees F. It was cooled off by the strong thunderstorms we had the night before which brought 8 inches of rain. I was eager to check on some of the known larvae and see how they had fared. It seemed that in general they were fine. I am glad I brought in some that were in the bottom land pasture because it did flood with strong rushing waters. This is a photo of a 20 mm long 4th instar resting a bit.
