This robin aka Eleanor as named by my husband Matt began making her nest on/about 4/9/16. The first nest disappeared and she immediately started another. At first I thought maybe Eleanor picked up the nest and "re-located" but my husband who is a more experienced bird watcher told me that was not likely. Shortly after the new nest was completed a beautiful, tiny blue egg appeared just as quickly the egg was gone. Today 4/22/16 Earth Day, we noticed that Eleanor was perched on the nest with her beak open and eyes wide for long periods of time. And again, a blue egg is once again in the nest. I am hoping to capture more photos but am concerned that Eleanor may see me in the window and I do not want to disturb anything in this natural process We have had the privelege of witnessing close up.
