We did have one female that left 4/20/16 still rather thin looking. We had a terrible rain like a tropical disturbance from 4/17-4/20/2016 worse than Alison they say.This is just at the primary time of bird migration. ugh B.L Houston
I would like to share below if JN sighters are not seeing as many Ruby-throats this year with what was relayed from Houston Chronicle columnist/naturalist Gary Clark below:
'I saw birds at woods along the coast yesterday afternoon.(4/20/16) Many were so exhausted they could hardly fly off the ground. Just sitting there trying to recover. Birders were delighted. I was saddened.
