I saw my first rubythroat (a male) Friday. I had been looking for them to come, but was quite surprised when I saw one. I checked when I had seen my first hummingbird last year, and this years hummingbird was a whole 8 days earlier! I don't mind, though. I can't wait until the females arrive!
