I began offering nectar about three weeks ago. We will be moving to this location from an apartment with no place for feeders. I asked the owner for permission to hang feeders in the yard early with the hopes of attracting hummers. I stopped by last evening to drop of some items and was greeted with the sound of hummers buzzing away from the feeders as I approached. I did finally see a male on a feeder!
