Our tulips had emerged and the leaves were a few inches high when we were hit with a few inches of snow that stayed for about a week. Despite that they recovered and are blooming well. They are so bright and vibrant that my 2 year old daughter wants to pick them all! (But grandma encourages her to pick the dandelions instead;)
