We saw at least 5 different Monarchs. Three were in the River Bottom nectaring on Texas Thistle, Cirs1um texanus. About a mile and a half West of the River Bottom we saw at least two nectaring on Knodding Head Thistle, Cardenus nutans.
It must have been a good year for the Antelope Horn Milkweed because we saw a little in some new locations and all had white blooms on them now.
