Two male Ruby Throats on my Red Buckeye tree blooms. Then when it began raining around 10 am they moved to my feeder and began dueling over the single feeder. I immediately prepared more nectar and filled a second feeder as soon as the nectar was safe (cooled). After mounting the second feeder the two each began defending "his" feeder. They were even trying to chase off larger birds coming to the seed feeder nearby.
Weather--55F cool, cloudy with rain then drizzle, light breezes from NE.
